About This Resource
Short-term respite for family caregivers of someone diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia. A care manager helps build a care plan and arranges short-term services, through a home care agency or someone you trust, so the caregiver can take a break. The program can pay up to $7,500 a year, depending on funding and need.
